The skills acquired enables the student to be a valuable asset in strategic and operational planning of the organization they belong to as these are the critical activities in maximizing the value of the firm. For this module you will need the prescribed textbook Gitman, LJ. 2010. Principles of managerial finance: Global and Southern African perspectives. Cape Town: Pearson South Africa. The choice of the calculator is up to you whether its SHARP or HP or even a normal scientific calculator. As we go through the curriculum the lecturer will show you the steps to use both calculators.
